Pretty decent tasting Vietnamese food in a clean and spacious environment. I like the classical music playing inside as I enjoy a healthy and colorful meal here. I've been to Saigon Pho & Grill twice so far.. and I have to say that its good. But my favourite in Sugar Land will always be Pho Ben. When I first came here.. I ordered soft tofu rolls and a tofu banh mi. Unfortunately, the tofu was missing inside of the soft roll. All I got was lettuce and noodles inside my roll. Where was the tofu? It was the main ingredient which was missing. Well... the world may never know. Haha! As far as the banh mi goes.. it was delicious and satisfying. The tofu inside the sandwich was crispy.. as was the bread. The vegetables inside were fresh and crunchy. I no longer have to make the drive to China Town when craving a good banh mi sandwich. Second time around I came here.. I was craving a big bowl of vermicelli noodles with crispy tofu and vegetables. Well.. that is exactly what I got here. It was delicious and healthy. Although I would have liked fresh herbs on top of the vermicelli bowl. Adding fresh herbs always brings out the flavor of an item. It's one of my favorite dishes as its light and the noodles are boiled and not fried. I also ordered the shrimp soft rolls. They were generously filled with plump and juicy shrimp. The peanut sauce always goes nice with this tasty item. Even though I was hungry and ate a lot for my standards.. I had plenty of leftovers to take home. The cafe su da (Vietnamese iced coffee) is always a crisp and caffeinated drink when in the mood for a buzz. I may be back for the tofu sandwich and to try out other items from the menu (vegetarian pho & such).
