The Waffle Bus review

Soo, the waffle bus has finally made its appearance to the University of Houston! Its nice to know that these guys will be serving up some mean waffles during this hot and weary semester! I had the chance of trying a few items from the waffle bus these last two days. There was a moderate line of people waiting and it was darn hot outside. Regardless, that did not stop me in wanting to try a waffle from this popular food truck. My first pick was the nutella and banana waffle. This gorgeous waffle sandwich was slathered with nutella and topped with sliced bananas. A thin amount of sweet cream was then laced on top of the fruit. The sandwich itself was quite huge and filling. My inner sweet tooth was well satisfied with this decadent treat. The next day I tried the smoked salmon waffle sandwich. The item itself sounded unique, and I was not afraid of trying it. To my disappointment, the meal itself was not anything spectacular. In fact, I did not like the combination of flavours in the waffle sandwich. I could not finish the rest, and decided to only stick to sweet and traditional waffles from then on. The concept of a smoked salmon waffle is unique, but its definitely a taste that is acquired. Overall, the waffle bus has an amazing idea, and I can only hope the best of luck for these young guys. I will definitely stick to the sweeter side of waffles that are doused in chocolate and fruits! I think Ive found a winner here!
