Not that good... The waffle was warm but dry in taste and texture.. because of this.. it got stuck on the paper boat container that it came in. I have had better Belgian style waffles throughout my travels and this certainly wasn't it. Flavorwise it wasn't bad and the aroma was buttery and lightly sweet, but overall it was just okay in execution. Chocolate sauce and fruit were added on top. Initially I wanted a plain butter waffle but decided to add toppings to it as well. In regard to pricing, it gets expensive with the adding and layering of toppings. They have a decent hot beverage menu so I opted for their hot chocolate. Not bad, but just okay, like the waffle. Gatlinburg is quite a touristy area so the service was appreciated. This is a unique choice of dessert for that part of town. It was appreciated among the cafes that had pancakes and coffee, but was just hoping for a better flavor. Something with more butter, flavor, and tenderness to the waffle. At least you can walk around town with this portable dessert while sightseeing in Gatlinburg. Try it for yourself.
